In short
Zenith is a browser extension — stopwatch, timer, alarms, and world clocks — that runs entirely on your device. It doesn't require an account, doesn't collect personal data, and doesn't send anything back to its developers. The only outbound connection is the city search used for world clocks, sent to a third-party geocoding service, described in detail below.
Data we process
Zenith doesn't require sign-up, an account, or an email address. The extension includes no analytics or advertising tracking, and builds no profile of you.
The only information stored is what you configure yourself inside the extension:
- your active timers and focus sessions;
- your alarms, their scheduled times, and chosen sound;
- the time zones added to your world clocks;
- your display preferences (language, theme, and other settings).
Local storage
All of this information is saved only on your device, using the browser's local storage API. It is never synced to an account or sent to a server — Zenith's developers have no access to it. Uninstalling the extension or clearing browser storage permanently deletes this data.
Third-party service: city search
When you add a world clock and type a city name, that search text is sent to the Photon (Komoot) geocoding service to look up matching coordinates and suggest the closest tracked city.

This search does not rely on your device's location: Zenith does not request the browser's geolocation permission. We encourage you to review Komoot's own privacy policy to see how they handle the requests they receive.

Your rights
Since Zenith keeps no data outside your device, you exercise your rights (access, correction, deletion) directly inside the extension: edit or remove your alarms, timers, and cities at any time, or uninstall the extension to erase all locally stored data.
If you're based in the European Union, these principles align with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For any question about processing carried out by the third-party geocoding service, please contact Komoot directly.
Children
Zenith is not designed to knowingly collect data from children. Since the extension collects no personal data on its own, we do not process any information relating to a minor.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the extension evolves — for example, if a new feature introduced a new type of data processing. The "last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. We encourage you to check back periodically.
